Supriya Desai is an American-born daughter of Indian immigrants who feels strongly that her fortune to be free, safe and prosperous comes with a sacred responsibility to help others experience the same. Ms. Desai met Mohamed Yahya in Charlottesville, VA and was deeply moved by his passion for and selflessness in raising awareness of the crimes against humanity occurring in his native Darfur. She would like to use her business experience and education as well as her concern as a citizen of our global community to support Mr. Yahya and Damanga achieve the goal of justice, freedom and an end to suffering for Darfuris in any way needed. Ms. Desai lives and works as a business advisor in strategy, high performance and change management in the northern New Jersey/New York City area.
