Damanga Receives Grant from Community Foundation of Greater Greensboro

Damanga Coalition for Freedom and Democracy is pleased to announce the recent receipt of a grant for $5,000 from the Peter B. and Mary Ann Bush Family Fund of the Community Foundation of Greater Greensboro.  The grant is designated to promote human rights for the people of Darfur, Sudan.

Mohamed Yahya, the Executive Director of Damanga, said of the grant, "We greatly appreciate the generosity of the Bush Family and the Community Foundation of Greater Greensboro.  It is support from such people that allows us to move forward with our vital work, fighting for the lives and livelihoods of Darfur's people."
