Damanga
condemns bombing of darfur villages
April 01, 2008
The
Damanga Coalition for Freedom and Democracy condemns
the bombing of five areas in northern Darfur over the
weekend. As a result of the ongoing crisis in Darfur,
the majority of inhabitants had already fled from the
region. However, a child was killed and another person
was injured. Damanga is outraged by the continuous violence
and the incessant attacks by Sudanese troops against
Darfuri civilians. Damanga implores the international
community to implement the UNAMID force immediately
to help deter these attacks and restore order.
