US Army officer opens fire on his fellow Soldiers

On Friday, November 5th, 2009, Lt. Major Nidal Hassan opened fire in Fort Hood, Texas, killing 13 soldiers and injuring 39 more. It has been reported as one of the most violent Army base attacks in U.S. history.

Damanga Coalition for Freedom and Democracy was shocked by the horrific incident and sends its deepest condolences to the family members and friends of the victims. Damanga strongly condemns this horrific attack and believes that a serious investigation is thus warranted. This action was absolutely unjustified and unacceptable-hurting fellow American Soldiers on American soil.
